Ah, beach, serenity, sun and waves, sun and waves...

NOW FEATURING the SBH lawnchair holster, and the patented SBH pistol hat (NV goggles and scope sold separately).

If ya have to pack, can you relax? Can you interact with unknown people safely? Yeah, I guess, to a point. Do you introduce yourself and say "Please stay at least 20 feet away" ?

Or should you try to park close to folks so there will be witnesses?

5,000 people go to the Bank and make all manner of deposit and withdraw activities.

1 guy goes to the Bank and robs it.

Guess which leads off the 6 pm News?!

If it's the "apparent" truck/trailer jacking and murders, I've said all along that it smells like a drug deal gone bad. If it's the harassment on PINS by Ranger Rick, that's been an ongoing issue for, what feels like forever (or at least under that past couple of Head Honchos down there). The speeders, there have ALWAYS been Googans on the beach. [Truth be told, it's the D@MN idiots who do donuts and rut out the driving lane to the point of it rattling your teeth when you drive through it Evil or Very Mad]

Go enjoy the beach. Be one of those 5,000 that don't make the news. Chance are you will never have an issue 'down the beach'.

Amen, brother! Keep your head on straight and be vigilant as always, but go about your life in a way that's friendly and adventurous.

Just having a weapon easily accessible does not mean you have to pull it on everyone. It's no different than a fire extinguisher, do you always grab one of those when you see a cigarette lighter? Let simple, drama free, common sense be your guide.

And no one said I will - best plan is to drive farther south - trouble makers like lots of easy pickings and plenty of opportunity.

Based on what I read, this just seems like there are bad people in this world. Nothing indicates they were using or dealing. Just crossed the wrong path.

I'm not denying your assessment of 'bad folks' out there, but just ask yourself:

Self? Who murders, and then buries!!!! a car jacking victim? That's a first.......... Something just doesn't add up.

There is no reason to think that the dead couple were junkies like the perp. If you know anything about the perp's past, you shouldnt be surprised what he did.

Oh no. SBH has been gentrified since the 70s and 80s when bodies in the dunes were not uncommon.

Who then buries , lol ? Oh. maybe someone who didnt want it to be known that a crime was committed. And the car jacking ? Missed that - my guess is these nice people , talked to the pos, they went back up by the camp to visit, talk , like a lot of us do. Then the pos murdered them, buried them , and hoped people would think - they just left. Except for Billy, uh, a coyote , this could have stayed unknown for quite a while.

Burying them bought them time. I am amazed at how stupidly they crossed the border. Had they not been caught in pics, they maybe get away with it. They may not be releasing info as there maybe others involved as well.
