I am wanting to come fishing next week. Monday-Thursday. Does anyone have a guess as to what the water conditions and tides could be like due to the storm that moved up through Galveston? Will the runoff end up further south? Will the tides be higher than normal? I am not sure if i want to drive from Keller if the water is going to be brown. I may have to wait a week....Then again, might just drive south anyway. Maybe fish the ship channel.
Check your crystal ball and let me know.
Thanks |

Wind predictions are for lighter than average wind next week.
40 percent chance of rain, though.
Be advised, rains have been small squalls over the last couple weeks.
Wind jumps from calm to 25-40 in five minutes, then after 30 minutes or and hour, it drops back off just as quickly. Except when it just keeps blowing.
Surf and swell predictions are for 3-4 ft all week.
It will probably be a good week with some better-than-average spans.
There should be some really good fishing off and on all week.
I would love to have next week off.
I would rather have a week off next month, though. _________________ Take it outside! |

I checked a few more weather sites and it is looking sketchy.
I would keep a close eye on predictions until it is too late to abort. _________________ Take it outside! |

Other than a few passing showers you look good. Some of the best conditions I've seen all year really.
You will not have any affects from the storm in southeast texas. Imelda. You might have a little higher than normal tide left but not too bad.. typical fall bull tide.
Go fish, bring a rain jacket.. or not, it's still hot outside.
email if I can be of any help at all,
