Finally was able to make it out to the surf. First time in about three months. Got out there to see beautiful cloud formations and sunrise unfortunately tinypics is no longer so I can't post any pictures today. started out throwing topwaters and spoons but no takers. Switch to my long poles. 1 pole I put live mullet. Another pole cut whiting. And the third pole fish bites and shrimp. Picked up a nice 20in trout on cut whiting. none of the other rods with live or cut bait ever got touched again. rod with shrimp and fishbites reminded me of my two great-grandsons. non-stop "baby shark". LOL. Probably caught a dozen bonnetnose. Left beach by 9:45 cuz it got hot as hell out there. Finally had to put my rods away and jumped in the water and cool off. With tinypics no longer working and me always posting from my phone it looks like I won't be able to post pictures any longer unless somebody knows another sharing service that I can use. I know CS uses flicker but that's on his computer. Doesn't work off the phone[/u]

Hit my honey hole this evening about 6:45 and made a couple drifts. Caught probably 12 trout with 3 keepers along with a 28 in red. Sorry I still can't figure out an app to help me post pictures. I take that back. Tinypics is up and working again.

20 inch trout
