I know its been discussed but I found this online and thought it was worth posting.

https://www.nps.gov/grca/learn/management/upload/Firearms-in-IMRparks2-2010.pdf

Also in reading the PINS statment about bait cannons being prohibited by 36 Code of Federal Regulations. I looked it up and read the code and find nothing there that could prohibit it. FWI

Good post, Vern.
And that PINS statement re: bait cannons sounded like liberal wishful thinking to me too.

And all of this came about as part of the "Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009".......

Take a minute and read the title of that Act S L O W L Y , and let it marinate. Then, wonder nevermore why our Gub'ment is an absolute waste of protoplasm... Rolling Eyes

(I saw where 'bows' were illegal, but it didn't say anything about arrows. I think for my next trip to PINS, I'm going to take a quiver of arrows and throw them at Ranger Rick's White Truck as it passes by. Hey, I ain't got no Bow!!!)

Say Central I have seen some guys use sling shots to shoot arrows and there is an indian tribe (another continent) that uses a stick to throw them.....
Just saying.

I noticed that in another place they say the bait canon is considered a weapon according to code 36. I read it and I dont find it listed anywhere. I think someone is just discriminating.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
