Look at the current segment of Laguna Shores Rd. this morning that is under repair between SPID and Graham. Looks like the repairs are nothing more than a very large patch. Right down the middle of the road. At least that is what I see from the barricade on the Graham Rd. end.

Hope not! Maybe that's just the initial patch over the pipeline they put in there and they will come back and resurface the road upon completion

yes, you can fool with people's quotes, but it's really not nice to do...

When I drive the distance between Mediterranean and the end of Laguna Shores I don't know if my truck is going to hold up until they can redevelop it, due to the increasing number of big pot holes which are increasing by the day! Surely the City of CC is going to keep the road repaired until it's redone?

In a past edition of Island Moon I read that the SPID to Graham phase would be complete in late December, weather permitting.

The optimistic estimate for completion made me chuckle.

The fun is compounded when you are pulling a boat.

This is exactly what I was thinking earlier today when I saw it, and like you, I hope it's not just a big repair. I look forward to them widening the road a little with good shoulders, etc. Wishful thinking, I'm sure! Rolling Eyes

I think the correct reference to it is the problem is compounded when you pulling a boat, because pulling the boat just adds two to four more tires busting those pot holes up into bigger ones. Shocked Nothing against boats, just say'n.

it was supposed to have been done due to the funding source, but they were allowed an extension due to the high tides we had all fall...new close out date is like July, but they'll be out of there way before then, as you can see...

I have a very good feeling the Laguna Shores road project is going to turn into another Clem's/Billings boat ramp project. That took 7 years after the city council approved the project and received funding.

LMAO!!!!!!
