Got to stay a couple weeks this trip and was able to get on a few fish even though the weather was not the greatest. Had a friend come down for a few days and we were able to get limits of reds and drum one day. Then got to fish with my wife a day and she caught 35 inch, 33 inch, and 29 inch reds and a bunch of drum. My dad came for a day and we got limits of drum and a red. Then another buddy was able to come down and we went out with a guide and got limits of drum that probably averaged 9-10 lbs each and he caught a 40 inch red that he is going to mount and I caught my biggest big ugly at 37 inches. I also got lucky and caught some flounder including 2 that went 22 inches each, and was able to get a quick limit of specs one evening on paddle tails. It was not the best trip for beach playing with my girls or getting the kayaks out but it was pretty good for fishing. Will be May before we get to come back, but already looking forward to it.

Congratulations on a great trip! Good weather does not necessarily mean good fishing, as you have learned. I'm always humored when we have a blue sky day and someone says, "it looks like a great day for fishing"! I would much rather be fishing on an overcast day.
