Expect higher than normal tides and water possibly to the dunes in late afternoon on high tides for the next two or three days.

yeah, but storm tides are a great time to take a bay boat to the back of the lakes -
-on a 3' storm tide we rode airboat trails and caught jacks and baby tarpon in the bottleneck - there were tailing sharks on Cedar Bayou flat.

Do we anticipate the beach tides receding by Friday?

Wife was at Malaquite today (near the tables in the webcam) at 10am low tide. When bigger sets came in, she said the water was halfway up her calf, at the dunes line.

Tides in my Canal are higher than they were when Harvey came through. This heron didn't have to go very far to find food.

Just went out and got the newspaper and walked out to my dock to see what it look like today and water is up over my bulkhead today. Highest it's ever been even during Hurricane Harvey and Ike. This is what the boat launch looks like over at Bluff Landing.
