Sad news indeed. CF isn't going to be the same without him. RIP Stan.

What a nice man. I first met him through Mike Singleterry when we went to one of his fish fries. We became better and better friends which allowed me to see what so many posters here also saw - a king, gentle soul. So hard to believe our Exalted Ruler has passed. Prayers for his family.

Wow, I thought seriously about visiting Stan on Friday, as I drove by his street off Laguna Shores, but decided he was probably not home or was busy. I've only known Stan since 2014, and found him a very outgoing and friendly guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends, which were many.

That is horrible. Really enjoyed his reports. Just read the good doctor report the other day. Never met him but seemed like an awesome person.

I love IMS. We'd talk about him growing up down here in the valley. I'm sad.

Coffee report.....

I met Stan and Deb when we went to look at the house they were selling (their old house next door). We did not buy it, but I later went to him for boat advice (which led me to meeting speckled.trout !). Good man, always willing to offer help and advice for folks new to town. I can't belive it. I guess him and DMAC are on a drift right now. Good luck guys!

RIP Stan, may the lord be with you on this journey. While on this earth he says that the best is still to come. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends during this time of morning and his celebration of life that we were all blessed to be part of..........cC

Wow, this terrible news has caught me completely off-guard, given his recent progress. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. This place will never be the same.

WOW! This sad news has taken a while to sink in today. Stan was one of my best friends. A great fishing buddy, co-worker at CCAD, fellow welder and Navy vet, excellent craftsman in many trades, smart, funny and witty. What a loss to the world of humanity.
Our condolences and prayers to Debbie and the family. Adios, Amigo!

Bruce and Dorise Steele
