Bizarre thing last week.
We spent several days on the 7mm.
on 7/5 most of the day I could hear an aircraft droaning along. I grew spent my High School years in a farm and ranch community and have had a lot of experience listening to crop dusters
And that is what this sounded like. It was on the back side of the island, sounded like it was making passes. Just figured may be they were spraying mosquitoes or something,,,,, allllllll day.
BUT at dusk it started again and my wife and I looked up and this time we could see lights with the sound. A bit of a bizarre pattern of lights, white and green. Arrow indicates travel direction.
hmmm cant make pattern show up 4 white ligths in a square square with 2 green lights off of 2 opposite sides
Flew in a oval pattern around us 200-300 yard kind of a square pattern back part of Island and out over the water.
After I stood up and started pointing at it just kept going down the back side. Figured it must be some kind of really big drone or something but the flew most of the day. _________________ Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might. (Fishing is one of those things ) |

I have seen them (drones) when I was way down - 40s 50s, and nobody within 10 miles or so, also in closer but just seems odd. Then first hear the hum, look around , expecting to see a navy trainer messing around - nothing, then lookup and circling , must be somebody incredibly bored - to want to watch an old crippled guy, limping around , catching whiting ,cussing at the wind, cast netting , putting out lines , taking in lines , just crazy. _________________ Don - permanent prescription of salt water therapy. |
