Currently at my place winds are SE at 10 with lighter gusts to 14mph, humidity is 71%,the barometer is 29.90 with a temp of 81. Sunrise is at 0633 with first light at 0534. radar is showing some scattered showers but it looks good for a few hours of fishing this morning. maybe I'll have a report of some kind later if plan A works out for me. COFFEE is good this morning. Have a great Friday and a better weekend. IMS _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Fishing started out great using artificials then.......then the throttle broke again. Lou steered and I was the throttle man. Luckily we were in the backyard and not south. The girl is back in the shop. Something came loose but I was lucky and still had forward and reverse. All is good. The Trout bite was good could have been better. Saw some reds but they were not interested in me. It was still early. We will hammer them next time. Glad to see you are out fishing Speck. It is your time of year . _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Sorry to hear about the break-down, although it's good you were close to home. Can't tell you how many times it's taken a throttle man and someone to steer to get back home over the years. Seems it was the steering cable that had broken. Then came hydraulic steering.
We were close yesterday too, trout bite was real good for about an 2 hours. That was all we needed. Soft plastic was the key. Home at 9:30a.
You know I can't stay out long, don't do real good in the heat anymore.

Already fixed. It was a throttle arm. The the plastic coupling that snaps over a ball type extension was oblonged just enough to let it pop off. Maybe some fishing next week. Ryan at Premier got in and out quick. Happy, happy, happy. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
