I am planning on trying to fish the packery jetties next Friday. I am going to take the family. I am looking online and it looks like you can also fish the surf. Do I need some kind of parking permit? Only going to be there for a day. My son has been begging for a little fishing time. And if so, where would I buy it?

Yeah you need a parking permit to park on the beach. $14 I believe. Gas stations sell them on the island.

All convenience stores and HEB. Often times when you drive on the beach there is a vehicle parked there selling them as well

I haven't posted this yet but there were some limits on trout there Saturday. Lots of undersized too on DOA shrimp silver metal flake.

$12...actually. But it's way better than the $150.00 fine for not having one. And the City is real good about writing tickets, so spend that $12.

thanks Tyler, CS I always follow the rules, because tickets for non sense is ridiculous. And with my luck. I would be getting a ticket. LOL!
