I will be in Rockport this weekend and was thinking about going over to Port A but last time I was there Charlie's Pasture was still closed off post Harvey. I am sure the pier is still damaged but can you at least get to the bulkhead? I know bulkhead had damage.

From my last visit the pier was gone and the bulk head was still under repairs.

On the bright side, Horace Caldwell is open again.

As of Thursday, the road was still blocked off not too far from Cut-off Road. But as Tyler said Horace Caldwell is open and only had 4 people on it Friday morning about 10 am.

So glad to hear that. I was worried about it for a while.

Not to hijack a thread, but...

Speaking of closed piers, does anyone know if (and when) the city plans to rebuild or fix the pier at Cole Park? I always thought it was too narrow, and needed some lights. Maybe? No chance seeing as how the city is BROKE? Theories?

I got a feeling it's on an even further back burner than the Selena memorial that sits in darkness... Rolling Eyes

I have no idea on that but it is a good question. Call or email your city council person and ask that question.
