Below the map on it you can click near by stations to see other places like nueces and Aransas Pass.

Could be bad

The Gulf is passing the critical 9 degree Celsius mark, and still falling (Based on the Bob Hall reading this am). It's colder in the Bay, but most of the old TCOON stations aren't funded, so it's anybody's guess.

I did find the Nueces Bay station had a reading of 6 C..... So yea, it's pretty cold out there.

Surprised not to see a cold water closure from TP&W. I expect one soon!

Dag gum...that's really cold! Hope our big fish have found their way to deeper warmer water. And yes, anglers, give them a break and leave them alone.

I pulled this from another forum:

TPWD's emergency freeze closure criteria is implemented when air temperatures are predicted to drop to or below 32 degrees F and creates a risk of depletion of one or more game fish species. Although air temperatures did drop below freezing along the coast the duration is/was predicted to be short with temperatures increasing over the next few days/nights into the 50

Never got out of the 30's today at the ranch in Kendall County near Boerne.

All deer and varmints are moving around during the day. We continue to be in a drought.

70 degrees up here on Sunday so hopefully the coast will rebound by the weekend.

Weather here today was awesome. Started out with the coldest temperatures of the year at 12 degrees but warmed up to a 44 this afternoon. 44 here with no winds and sunshine means I was fishing in a long sleeve t-shirt today down at the river. Got 1 rainbow. Was treated to a red-tailed hawk and a bald eagle hunting along the river. Hope this warm weather finds you guys soon.

Sunset in the high country - those colors from mother nature are just incredible - looks like I will be in Sedona Arizona in the next month or so - doesnt matter the weather, its always beautiful there and will post a picture or two.
