The full moon this weekend will be the only super moon of 2017. That means it will be closer to the Earth than any other time of its elliptical orbit around our planet. Hopefully it wont be to cloudy. Maybe thats why fishing sucked this week. Lol

Gravitational force and light intensity both vary by distance according to the inverse squares law. Have heard this super moon will be 30% brighter than average, so I guess its gravitational attraction will be, too. High tides may be higher than average, accordingly.

BTW, SwellInfo has reversed itself again, and now predicts less than knee-high surf this weekend.

Becky and several others will be South of Bob Hall or in the teens on PINS hunting for pomps. I may run out there later!

It wasn't bad given the moon. I had decent luck both days this weekend. My buddies and I even got to sight cast to tailing reds with topwaters. There are still schools of drum cruising the surface on the KRS.
