| I saw PLENTY of fishing going on yesterday, the entire length from Bob Hall to the North Sticks, but scant catching??? By mid-morning, the winds got up and it looked like the pomp window was closed. Lots of loose seagrass on the lines coming in. Just checking to see if anybody had any luck. |

I was out there. Surf and winds were up. Nada for me. I gave it hell but no luck. I even took off the waders and got wet for due diligence. _________________ TAKERS GET THE HONEY, GIVERS SING THE BLUES.... - ROBIN TROWER - |

Had a buddy tear up the smacks yesterday around the 20 on PINS. All 21 to 25 inch on silver spoons. _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

By anyone's standards, Nick Meyer did. He posted pix of a big pomp catch on FB a couple of hours ago, but has yet to reveal details. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

Nick got into the pomp at long distance on Fishbites and shrimp. Bite ended at slack tide.

I'm glad Nick has found the pomps, and that Tyler posted that pic of the proof. However, SwellInfo is still forecasting excellent pomp fishing surf conditions through Thursday morning. Now, if only Nick would post where he went down PINS today... _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

I caught a bucket of whiting just off the pavement at pins close to sundown today (sunday) - and a nice size pomp, except something had taken a large bite out of the upper back - the wound had healed - just interesting. I let it go - have a soft spot for the wounded. _________________ Don - permanent prescription of salt water therapy. |

| Fished just north of the 15 from sun up till 1100 before work 11/26/17. Plenty of pomps on straight shrimp fishbites. Two oversided reds on them as well and a couple spanish macks. Tried cut whiting but the smalls sharks wouldnt leave it alone. Fast and furious till I left, great day to be on the sand and suprisingly little traffic for a Sunday |

| I fished about 1/4 mile past the 15mm Saturday and Sunday. Saturday Caught a bull red, a Spanish mackerel and lost a slot red at waters edge. Sunday morning started to get the pompano on shrimp and fish bites casting past the 2nd bar. Ended up with 3 nice sized pompano but had to leave them biting at 10am so we could head back to SA. |

I picked up 6, including a donkey pushing 4 lbs coming off the beach yesterday, until the wind came up...
Nick nailed them again this morning, while the rest of us are at work...
the water temps are still up; I think we are just getting started despite the later than normal date...we need another solid front or two to really kick them off, but there's a few there...

With all of these eyes on the surf the past couple of days...anyone see any jacks cruising the guts? I'd like to sling a fly rod at them. _________________ Fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again.
