Spent an enjoyable day at the beach. a lot of driving from whitecap to the sticks.No reports of catching early but got better as the day progressed. Ran into some old friends and met some new ones. Ended up just north of whitecap and witnessed an epic whiting battle between the wife and sis in law think it ended 12-10. the winner anchored it with a large black drum one of several reported earlier. A special thanks to Manny for the visit and leader hadn't seen him in five years. He's a good guy. now Iv'e got a long 8 hour drive to north texas to look forward tomorrow. Ya'll stay safe down here.

Thanks Tom. Was hoping to see you but this was such a whirlwind trip this time it just went by so fast. We'll try and get together next time I'm down. Oh and happy belated birthday!

Was good to see you again. 10 minutes after you left I did land a 28" redfish.
