| Jstone and his family are in town from Oklahoma for a week. He doesn't know the water's very well so he asked me if I would show him different areas that would be navigable in his 22 foot Pathfinder. Went out with him and his dad around 9:30 and we went to a number of different areas including Nighthawk, King Ranch Shoreline, the backyard. Fishing was relatively slow but we did put six keeper trout in the Box including Jstones personal best of almost 22in. Had a fun time and wish them luck on their fishing for the remainder of the week |

What they can navigate right now may not be true when normal tides return. You _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |

That's what I was informing them. And I showed him how to navigate when the tides are at their normal levels |

Huge thanks to Tom for taking time out of his day for some out of towners.....especially ones north of the red river!
Figured what better way to learn than to go out with Zia the legend.
Had a great time, learned a lot, and caught quite a few....of course Tom caught the most.
Gotta love that Texas hospitality!
Will be back at it again tomorrow through Saturday. Hopefully we'll catch a bunch and I can figure out how to post pics.
Thanks again Tom! |
