Going to a class reunion on the 23 rd of sept. Is there a good place to stay in port Isabel? If not I will get a room in Harlingen or on the island.

Got one. Me and some class friends booked rooms at the Southwind inn. It's a multii class reunion.. year before and year after it's going to be quazy. Think about it 74, 75, 76. Ahhhhhh the warm smell of fresh Geritol rising up in the air. We have reserved Claytons beach bar for the night of festivities. I'll be eye balling the old ladies. Lol ...another tequila shot please... every shot they look a weee tad better.

They are also the best pet friendly deal down there. Been staying there for years. Not a fancy place by any means, but always clean. All the best eats are in PI too. No tourist pricing.

I always stay at White Sands....everything you need is right there, and it's just a few minutes out to the Island...
