Is there anybody out in the Flour Bluff area that has power and has a generator they can spare for a little bit. I'm hoping to run my freezer and not lose all the Meat and Fish I have in it. No power at the end of Laguna Shores Road

| Ironman Stan came through. Thanks Stan. All my stuff was still frozen so I'm not going to lose anything. Also we're able to sit here in front of a fan. I owe you one |

That Generac has held up very well. I like the specs and reviews of the Caterpillar generator. I'm going to get one about a 10,000 watt model . That way I can run the whole house and maybe the ac if not it will run a window unit for the bedroom. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

| I can't be of any help to Zia right now, but thought I would offer a new 3600 watt generator to anyone interested in purchasing it. I bought it from Sam's with plans to be in CC/the Bluff during TS Harvey and use it if the power failed! However, as the storm intensified our plans changed and I just picked up my boat and hauled tail. The generator remains in it's original packaging and I plan to return it to Sam's, but since I'm reading there are no generators to be had from vendors in South/Central Texas, I thought I would offer it to a CF.com person when I return to the Bluff soon, because I'm hearing power may be delayed for an extended period, maybe weeks!? My cost was $299.00, plus tax, probably $324.00 or so. |

We still have a 4000xl we bought in 2000--it saved our bacon during a 7 day ice storm outage--
we back feed the house, and it ran a small circulation hot water pump-Sat.TV--and a few lights scattered about.
We have used it for many power outages out here in NM--(remember) a small Gen. can ONLY do so much--for example a elec. coffee pot is around 1500 watt.

My neighbors across the street still have zero power. So we ran some power via # 10 extension cords. Keeping his deep freeze and refrigerator going. IMS power and light. 😂 _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
