Is anyone else having an over heat issue with their Evinrude 300 G2? Running in clean water, jack plate down, trimmed under with 30psi of water pressure and still get a hot code when I get up to 5K RPM. Below 5K the temp is higher than average but not hot. Evinrude has a coolant system upgrade with larger tubes to move water out of the engine faster. Just curious to see how many others have seen this. Thanks for any feedback.

He should be able to help or at least get you going in the right direction. Let him know I sent you.

Who did you buy your boat from?

"Hey Tyler,
I have had 2 calls in the last week in reference to me having an overheating problem with my G2.
I would like to know who is telling or posting that I have had an overheating problem with my G2?
In fact, I can run my G2 on the highest level of my jack plate wide open and can't overheat it and at this level it still has 30lbs of water pressure! I am curious whom this person is and maybe there has been a misunderstanding.
Thanks in advance,
Capt. Geronimo"

Update. New bigger water circulating tubes put in along with new water pump. Getting 40 psi water pressure at WOT with temp getting into the 190's. Still higher temp than what I like but Evinrude says that's acceptable range.... Will see.
