Took a ride down the beach to check it out today. Got on at Bob Hall and drove all the way down and came out by pins. When I was coming out they were moving the ranger pay station to the beginning of National Seashore. Does anybody know how that's going to affect that one mile section of beach that is now free. Will they now put another bollards in to where you can no longer exit there?
Btw, driving was tough the whole way down. Either rough going or very soft sand.

Corpus Christi, TX - Due to continued road construction at Padre Island National Seashore a temporary Entrance Station will be installed approximately one mile north of the previous site. All visitors will be able to purchase all passes, pay entrance fees and receive park information at this new location. This temporary location is north of the access road to North Beach and all visitors, including those wishing to access North Beach from the southern end, will need to purchase an entrance pass. Be aware that road construction is still underway and that traffic delays are possible. When construction has been completed the station will be returned to the original site.
