| With the winds blowing 30 today there was no way I was going out on the water. So I thought. After eating breakfast I got very bored and was pacing around like a caged lion. Decided what the hell and jumped in the boat. Went out to the spoil Islands east of Pita and drifted all over back to the Flour Bluff Shoreline. Even with two drift socks out I was doing over one mile per hour on my drift. But I was rewarded with three keeper Trout from 16 to 19 inches. It was a little crazy but somebody had to do it. |

Yeah it's doable as long as one chooses the right areas. Some areas in the upper laguna don't actually even start to become productive until after the wind gets above 18. 30 is a pain in the *** to fish, but you CAN catch fish.
Nice work. |

| Went out again today from 10:30 until 12:30 and picked up another five as well and released them all. This time I started at the edge of the intercoastal and drifted back all the way to Pita |
