Got on the sand while it was still dark. Rod holders set with poles at the ready before the sun came up. Fishing just north of the NSS sticks. Lots of finger mullet up close to the beach early on but as the sun got higher they moved to deeper water.
THE FISHING: Slow. Did manage one bull red at 34, one slot red at 23, and one small flounder.
CONDITIONS: Water was sandy but you could still see the fish in the breakers. Lots of grass, the sticky kind that sets near the bottom, hate that stuff.
Back home by 12:30. Keeps the. Misses happy.

Good report Scott. Had To mess with that sticky seaweed yesterday. Reeling in the line it would get jammed in the rod tip to where I had to walk back to the dunes to get the fish onto the sand.
