Shallowsport texted me last night asking if I wanted to fish this morning. Hell yes!
Fished various spots from Pita to the backyard. I stayed with tequila all day while Scott tried various colors and styles. Water was crystal clear but we did find colored water where we caught most of our fish. We wound up with a double limit of trout up to 22".

This was the 1st keeper, about 20". Had 2-3 bigger.

Tom and I helped each other out. I would. Catch the small fish and he would catch the big ones. Nothing like good team work. Tom did manage to catch the smallest fish, on a lure, that. I have ever seen. He landed a piggy. Perch that I swear was smaller than his thumbnail.

Good to see the old guys out having some fishing fun. Someone has to catch the little ones so the other guy can fill the box. Very Happy

I was out friday morning, and the dang pin perch were hitting topwaters! that was a first for me.
