I see one of my friends on FB posted a shot a friend of his took yesterday on his way out to the 50mile weather buoy of the Anthills platforms being taken down.

I wonder if they are going to leave any of the leg structure below. It's funny Cheeseburger and I were just talking about those the other day.

When I was on the 12 hr with James last week we fished Ranzells and on the way in I saw a barge w/ crane sitting midway between the two rigs existing and my heart sunk. Sad ... what a pity.

grrrr......

they left leg structures in some of the rigs that were in 200+ feet of water, hopefully they'll do the same here.

Idle Iron strikes again. How many snapper and other reef fish will die because of this? Sad day for sure.

They always take it out to the bottom and remove all debris near it.
