Well ironmanstan and his bride tried the laguna reef for the first time last night , actually it was about 5:45 when we sat down. I could have kicked myself in the aft section for not trying it sooner. The service was great and friendly , my cupeth never ran dry, and the atmosphere could change anyone in a bad mood. A GREAT view, especially when the boat load of bikinis came into dock, i strained my eyes, they still hurt this morning, it takes years of experience to look at tiny bikinis when your wife is sitting two feet in front of you and your eyes don't move, yet you are taking in the whole view, try that. Anyway, i had the fish po-boy with the gulf catch i chose the mahi over snapper.....awesome. My bride had the shrimp po-boy with sweet potato fries, she was also equaly pleased.
My responce to the whole thing "I'LL BE BACK". The waiter also recieved a nice tip for his service, as me and the wife are good tippers when deserved....and they remember that when you return, if they are on the ball. I did not ask the prices of the brews and ritas , however i do foresee a meeting sometime in the future on the outside deck of the laguna reef. It will be a " REEF " meeting. That sounds funny. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

That is quite a feat! I thought mirrored sunglasses were the ticket. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

i should have bought a pair of those years ago, a pair of those would have saved me a lot of eye strain. Its taking years for me to be able to move my eye pupil without moving the rest of the eyeball. Pretty cool huh? _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Don't waste your money. Your wife can see bikinis approaching long before you can, and she already knows where you'll be looking before you do. She also saw your vain attempts not to be noticed noticing, so you may as well avoid the eye strain, too. The trick is to frown, trying to look like you're not impressed with the competition, and, if she asks why you keep staring, to tell her you didn't want to hurt their feelings when they risked skin cancer to make a show of themselves. She'll know that's a lie, but will appreciate the effort to get back in her good graces. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

We just got back from there awhile ago. Was packed....still great service & food.
Could only drink one beer before the food arrived. (to quick)
need to keep quite about it now, getting to popular already, hard to get a table outside. Lots of Houstonians there also
I'll be going back for sure.! (get the Gulf catch of the day instead of Alaskan white fish) $2 more but much better & worth it. _________________ -STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!- |

We got there about 7:20pm and had to wait about 5 minutes for a table outside. I had the Shrimp,Oysters and the Snapper and it was execellent. My girlfriend asked to mix and match some shrimp and oysters. It wasn't on the menu but they made it for her anyways. Also had the calamari as well. Everything was great but like Bluffer and Hec fish said food was out rather quick as we got everything at once about 5 minutes after we ordered. All and all it was execellent. We had 2 meals and an appit. and it came out to less then $25

I'd say that this thread is pretty good advertisement for the laguna reef. they should have a billboard on this site. I know i would. Just think about it, all i have to do is read this thread and i get hungry. ims _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

I wish they were paying me, however the us.govt is doing a fine job and nevers misses a payday....ironmanstan is currently working 7 days a week for his country right now making sure the guy in the field is getting a small portion of what he needs. It will soon end i hope as i'm ready for a weekend and some fishing. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
