The add says "Receive a $12.00 gift card when you recycle your old battery with Academy Sports & Outdoors. Limit 5 per customer."

I invested in small business and did very well. If I were to invest in metals it would be platinum. Oil stocks will boom again. Sock it away while you are young. You will need it when you retire. Health insurance is a killer for most folks. I'm blessed in that area. I don't know how most people get by when they retire because of health ins premiums. But that's another topic . This is about batteries .

I took five batteries in, , two marine batteries, and three car batteries.
customer service gave me 12.00 per battery on a gift card for 60.00
total.

I wanted to go buy more fishing gear, but my better half reminded me the kids need new shoes for school. . ( that's life ).

I dont know if that deal is still on this week or not? they were confused when i showed them the advertisement that came in the paper???
