Ok, so I caught what I thought was a bonnet head. After photo review I am questioning what I caught. What are the experts thoughts? I'm going with scallop hammerhead pup. Regaurdless, It was revived and released to fight another day. _________________ Stinger-A |

I think you may be right. Just my two cents but I think it actually is a hammer. |

I was south of bob hall, that was probably me. It was a quick catch and release. I used cut mullet for the shark, nothing but whiting, croaker and hardheads besides that. Limited out on black drum on the bay side that morning so everything was catch and release after that. _________________ Stinger-A |

Same thing I thought Tyler, I'm so use to catching bonnet head that I didn't think anything of it. Never kept one, I'm more of a catch and release guy when it comes to shark (unless it's a mako). That's the reason I like surf fishing, never know what you're going to catch. _________________ Stinger-A |
