I have a 2013 Xtreme 2200 with a ETEC 250 HO...I have never had the motor in the shop, but the first tune up is due. I have dropped 500 RPM but the motor is running good. I assume it's either fouled plugs or a bad injector. Im turning a 23P three blade and still cannot rev over 5500 RPM. Any Etec guys experience this?

Is it still "3 years or 300 hours" until the first scheduled maintainence? If so, might be time. Those are good outboards, but, there's a LOT of finely tuned tecnnology under that cowling!!!!!
