From Captain Billy Sandifer:
Having fished the salt waters of the Coastal Bend for over 50 years and having guided on the Nat'l Seashore, the bay systems and near shore waters for 23 years you probably have a hint of the amount of equipment one accumulates. Between the hours of 8: A. M. and 12 noon on Sat., 28 , Nick Meyer is allowing me to sell my overabundance of tackle, lures and accessory items at the Breakaway Shop. I sold off all of my trolling equipment some time back when I sold my Panga but still have a selection of near shore casting lures. I have hundreds and hundreds of surf and bay lures of many types. In addition my guess is that I have 30 or more pounds of plastic lures. Probably more. Many of these lures have never been used and includes original Corkys, Corky Fat Boys, and Corky Devils, Top water lures, 51 M Mirrolures, spoons and about any other type you can think of. Any number of these lures and colors were discontinued years back and are not available elsewhere. I've sold my shark rods and reels but still have some hooks, braid and mono line, sleeves and stainless steel cable available. I also have a brand new state of the art big game kidney harness and belly plate and smaller belly plates. I have one medium size farmer John O'Neil wet suit that has never been wet. I have bay bait casting and spinning rods and reels and several lite tackle surf spinning reels and rods, assorted reels and one large Tarpon sized spinning outfit on an 11 foot rod. I will be present the entire time and available to answer questions. None of the above items are junk nor worn out. They are ready to fish, right down to the lines. I've gone through all the items and done my best to price them fairly. There will be something for every budget. You can ask questions about any particular items and be assured you will get a straight and honest answer. I'm still going through gear and probably more items than mentioned will be available by the time of the sale. Thank you Nick and I hope to see y'all on Sat. Your Brother in the Sand. Retired Capt. Soba! Just. Having these two "Surf Masters" together and have them sharing some tips is worth the trip. The selection of various gear should be classic. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |
