How about big shell, little shell areas? I know they are kinda vague in their location but might be worth noting. Also the high banks. Theres the dunn camp markers. Green hill, black hill, novillo line camp. There's also a bunker or two behind the dunes. Theres a reef close to the beach, but the last few are closely guarded secrets.

2.5 MM - Ranger Rick and his brand of Stupid Human Tricks!!!! Shocked Shocked

But yea, that's a good start to a list. At the 40, (last summer) was the giant mooring buoy. I had not been past the 25 MM since then, but it was a sight to see.

Thanks! I added Little and Big Shell. Do you know the Mile Markers for any of the others?

If anyone knows for sure, maybe you could contact towboat trash. Theres a ton of info on the dunn camps which is a pretty interesting read. I don't know the exact mm of any of them. The novillo camp is the road across from the road to bird island boat ramp and the other camps are at 15 mile intervals behind the dunes. I think that's what i read. Read up on it, really good stuff.

If for your kids, don't forget to mention the buried treasure chests full of gold and silver somewhere along the stretch. X marks the spot!

At the 2.5 mile marker there's a big series of white powdery sand dunes. Lots of fun to go up there with the kids. I've done it many times and they always love it

nope.....nothing else to see down there....

LOL! don't take it personal if people don't give you GPS coordinates to the wrecks, bunkers, and other wonders of the PINS....you gotta "bleed" for stuff like that...

the kids will have a great time just being out there....I promise...

It's not like we are firsttimers down there. I've been going since the 60s.
We go camping down there at least a couple times a year for 10 or more days at a stretch.

All my kids have been going since they were babies. I'm just trying to put some of this down on paper for them since I'm not getting any younger.

I appreciate everyones help.
