Coastal Flooding and Rip Currents:Water levels of 2 to 2.5 feet above mean sea level, especially during times of high tide. This will result in water to the dunes. Some beach roads will be flooded and inaccessible (and one could get closed off from the main roads). Rip currents will be dangerous, even for experienced swimmers.

Good day to have to work I guess! Smile

All the drainage canals in the Bluff are as full as during a Tropical Storm, and it ain't rained a drop yet!!!! Laguna Shores is not quite breached (at least from the school road to Knickerbocker), but I suppose the old 'construction delays' were well worth it, right IMS!!! Shocked

Be glad you ain't in Houston right now......

Hope we're going to be out of drought conditions. The rains over the past year and a half have been welcome. Prepare for the invasion of the blood suckers.

Be glad you ain't in Houston ANYTIME! LOL.

Seriously though it's been a real bad day down this way! Lots of flooded homes, multiple deaths, and a mess to clean up! Radar shows more coming too! Hopefully folks will pay attention to the signs, warnings, and just have some common sense and not drive into the water tonight!!!

Hope y'all make it all right!

Lots of water in the wetlands along Laguna Shores rd. guess that's why they all them wetlands. Heard my first tree frog the other day didn't see it. Haven't had tree frogs, Anoles or many toads since the drought. I will be glad to see them come back along with other wildlife......except snakes but they will come too. Rain in the forecast..........have a great day all.
