Not only did they catch one, but it was a monster. And they sat tagged it, AND they caught it AGAIN a few hours later.

Just wow.... Shocked Shocked

Does anyone know the date of the catch?

I heard that. Thanks for the verification. Skipper and I had that happen sort of with a small blacktip. Skipper's son got bit off on a breakaway rig and caught the shark with the missing rig a short time later. Okay so not even close but that's all I got Very Happy

I visited Captain Billy the last part of last week and he told me about the double hook up of the Mako by Oz and also that the next day the Mako was tracked 60 miles south east of the tag point.

its crazy how fast they go back to their lives after being hooked. last year my buddy hooked up and broke off a few minutes into the fight and about 45 seconds later my rod took off, beached a 6' spinner with my hook, my buddies hook and one more from someone else that looked pretty fresh in her mouth.
