THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SHARK RACK. The only reason I'm selling this rack is because I've ended up with a new used long bed truck. I just finished this rack this past summer in June, it's almost new. It is totally custom and will fit a short bed FULL size truck or a full size (but will come up a hair short). It will NOT fit a Nissan frontier or the like.

It is totally galvanized and is made completely of flat bar and angle iron. Not a hollow portion to ANY of it. Used less than 6 months. Hot dipped in a true galvanizing plant, NOT sprayed. Tough as nails and will likely outlast me and you put together. Light tabs, nonskid paint on the decking, the ability to store the rod holder and back bar in a lower down position-we thought this one through when building it. Top brackets are for storing a kayak up there and securing it. The ladder has bracket tabs that come out that allow you to use a coupler through the ladder so that the ladder is coupled to the rack-no way it can collapse on you. The lights, wiring, ladder, and switches do NOT come with it, however the decking of course does. It is nonskid black on top and Rustoleum boat Topsider paint white on bottom (to reflect the rope lighting for better illumination at night).

If you are interested, give me a message with your name and number and I'll get back to you. I can tell you aluminum racks are up around 3,500 dollars. This one all said and done has about 2,100 dollars in it and is tougher than nails. It will NOT form cracks like aluminum does from beach driving. It weighs 340 lbs counting the rod holders and back bars and decking. Two men can lift it and move it around. It also has a slight 8 inch overhang over the lowered tailgate, which is nice for using a mounted light to light up the tailgate for cooking, rigging, etc at night, and also for shade during the day. If interested, give me a shout, thanks.
