Crab trap removal ended on February 28. You should be able to get plenty of crabs from your normal crab supply locations.

Update:
Larry Mathews hit the TCD two Fridays ago and got himself a MONSTER! It went a whopping 44-1/2 inches. He was using crab for bait. With this fish he took the $25 Early Bird and is currently in 1st place.

Ricardo C. Jr., Joe and I ended up at Goose Island and landed 5 decent black drum. Ricardo managed another MOSTER that went 44-1/4 inches. This fish places him in 2nd place.

These two fish pushed Ricardo Sr. (last years winner) down to 3rd place. The bar has been set HIGH but no worries.

There are still 46 days left in the tournament.
Just an FYI - The winner of last years tournament was caught the weekend prior to the last weekend and second place was caught 3 days before the end of the tournament. Typically the larger fish are caught during the month of March.

Use this link for the most current entries for this years tournament.

It is not too late to join the FUN!
GOD Bless and good LUCK!
