| A few weeks back, due to the Johnson 150 rattle, I didn't want to venture too far from port and just ran to the Fina docks. 3 guys showed up and asked if it would bother me if they tied up about 25 to 30 yds. away and I told them no, not at all. I hooked into a 36" red and sure enough she ran straight to their boat. She rolled on top next to them and I saw yellow line. I asked if they were using yellow line and they said yes, he'll give you slack, you just do what you need to do. I finally net the fish and proceed to untangling the line. I get it all untangled and find that our hooks are about an 1/8" apart in the same corner of that fish's mouth. Guess she was hungry, never seen anything like that. One of those fishing memories I probably won't ever forget. |

Good stuff, and good to see fishermen respectfully sharing the water.
Nice report, I did that a long time ago with a bass. My brother cast on one side of a log and I cast on the front side. we both almost immediately hooked up and found ourselves see sawing that fish back and forth till we realized it WAS the SAME FISH!!! LOL. That bass must have thought it was raining worms.
congrats, good times.

| Cool report, max. It sure is a much better fishing experience when courtesy is involved. |

I agree, but being casting distance away from another group of casters is never a good ideal. At least from my experience. | ziacatcher wrote: | | Cool report, max. It sure is a much better fishing experience when courtesy is involved. |

| Nah, it was good, we were all fishing straight down, about 27-28 ft of water. |

That's a heck of a memory trip and a story worth telling time and again. _________________ "I do hunt and I do fish and I do not apologize to anyone that I hunt and fish." - Norman Schwarzkopf |
