I had a phone call from a friend crossing the Harbor Bridge that noticed a very large area- 3-400 acres East of the Lexington that appears to be Red Tide. Can anyone confirm or comment?

Most likely true. The Aquarium quit taking in water from the bay a week or two ago. It was very evident downtown and off Ocean Drive.

On and off the whole stretch from north gate to around the Portland Bridge. I got reports last night of it appearing in the back bay .hopefully with the recent high tides and the upcoming weather it'll bust up .

Hope that is true. We've been dealing with a fish kill smell for the past three weeks off Ocean Drive.

Took my in-laws from Oklahoma to the Lex last week, and it was definitely red tide. Lots of dead fish washed up and floating, mostly shad. Saw one big dead drum.

It normally doesn't bother me, but I could notice the aerosols.

I was in AP/Rockport area weekend of the 10th. I was all over Hamptons Landing, Dagger Island, Steadmans flats area. Totally ruined my trip.

I was on the south side of Mud Island most of yesterday and did not see one dead fish or any signs of red tide. However, the wind was mostly out of the east, some southeast, and north, so any dead fish may have been blown to the west, but still no signs of a red tide presents.
