Water was pretty with a little less clear on north side. Red bite this morning not as prevalent as earlier in the week meaning non-existent today while I was there.

Of more concern is the hint of red tide. Very minor throat irritation but the bait is struggling. If you catch mullet and plan on using them alive, you must get in aerated water immediately. Also, throw a handful of ice in the bucket with them as this really helps.

There was a very strong outgoing current in the channel, and I am hoping the r. word is just residuel effects coming out of the bay.

We have been invaded by shark freaks for sure. Good luck to all of you!

I also share in your suspicion. I haven't seen any fish kills or updates on the area, but I agree. The bite was present last week, yet this week it's really bad.

Don't worry... the shark freak invasion was only temporary.... Rolling Eyes

I didn't smell any red tide but the only fish i saw being caught was this flounder in the video. We were only there a few hours though. On the north side of the north jetty there was plenty of mullet running along the rocks but you could only reach them if you had a good cast net. On Oct 17th of last year the reds were already running but everything has happened a bit late this year
