Headed to Marathon Key in the Florida Keys in a few weeks and want to do at least one full day with a Florida fishing guide. Wife is not interested in off-shore, so we will be looking for tarpon, reds, snook, trout. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Might have better luck asking this question on the FloridaSportsmen forum. Its one of their biggest fishing forums. And i think the site is broken down in regions too (east coast/keys/west coast, etc)

I really don't have any guides to recommend but as for snook you'll have a better shot more towards Islamorada & around the Everglades. The prime tarpon time is usually May/June but there can be resident fish anywhere. I can PM you some coordinates where we found lobster and hogfish near Marathon about a month ago if you're considering renting a boat... Good luck!
