| They had it blocked off for railing repair about 4 months ago, not sure about now. |

I went by there before work on Monday night....and it was still closed....bummer. Gonna miss the bull run.

You can wade or launch off the base if you can enter the base....if you work here....or you can get a MWA card. That's like a visitor's pass for a whole year. You do have to apply...and pass a back ground check. It runs $20. So not bad at all...they also have a real nice boat ramp.
