South from pack a little ways, the surf today has turned moderately rough, and brown from the resulting sand that is being kicked up. Mullet were jumping close to shore. Wave direction is northward. Surf is still fishable, I threw a silver spoon for about an hour. Caught nothing except for a blue crab snagged on my hook. No seaweed present.

This is a stark contrast to the water conditions yesterday which were small waves and clear green water.

Hi, Tyler. Great forum, I have learned a lot reading the posts here since I moved down to the Corpus area about a year ago.

I had family staying at one of the condo's this last week, so I got to fish south of pack on and off. Haven't caught much, but I haven't been able to put much time in either. The first gut is still pretty deep, and there are fish jumping.
