| Was invited to go gar fishing g tomorrow night I have a 6000 series spinning reek and a 10' heavy rod what size line /leader should.i put on it? Also what size / type of hook should I use?[/b] |

| I have a buddy who uses 60 pound but uses a pen 4/0 and don't think you will get much line that thick on a spinning reel with out going braided I would go 60 pound braided can get more line on it and use a shark rig with 6/0 hook |
