In case you haven't heard there was e-coli found in water tested in Flour Bluff. Luckily it's still OK to drink beer.  |

| Weird thing is they have been flushing water out of the hydrants here for the last couple months every day. I wonder now if there has been an issue and it was just below being reportable? Living here, at the end of the Bluff by the power plant, for the last 3 years, have not seen the flushing of water like they have been doing. Started off with just the one hydrant at Rex and Laguna, then they have been doing the one on Easy Street and the one on Whitley as well. I can tell when they are flushing as I lose my water pressure. |

| I never drink tap water anywhere anymore -- at the very least get a PUR faucet mounted water filter (NOT a pitcher) because they have the best 3-stage filter made. |

I heard it was the main ingredient in "natty Lite"!!

Being kid-less last night, the Wife-Unit and I decided to go out to eat and the sheer panic caused by this boil notice was almost hurricane-worthy! Every place on the Island was PACKED for a routine Thursday night, and the spot we did land at wasn't serving sushi!!! Something about not being able to cook rice.......
Yet the shrimp plate came ... with ... rice ... pilaf !!! 
Go figure!?!?! |

I figure Topdog bottled up some of the tainted water and will make a beer out of it and give it a name something like "Flourbluff Festival ," or "Flourbluff "E" Stout", maybe Polluted Waters, you can name a beer anything nowadays. I'm in.....
