Hey y'all. I'm headed out this afternoon in search of some stingrays for a trip this weekend. I've been seeing them around the flats here and there but no big concentrations. Is there any drive in spots the past few days that you guys have seen them thick? Any help is appreciated.

Drive out toward Port A to the Shamrock Island turn in. There have always been an abundance of rays along the shoreline to the south of the cut. Be careful.

I stopped trying to gig around packery after all the rays I kept seeing. All sizes, even some between 3-4' across.

I was fishing on the beach Monday when a huge one almost 2 ft across came right up to me on the shore line. I'll also admit that it freaked me out. Got a couple of cool videos of it. But i second Shamrock. They'll also swim right up to you in herds.

Hey guys thanks for all the tips. I ended up heading up around shamrock and got some decent ones. Now let's hope the sharks want them Saturday.
