Yesterday was my wife's birthday and she said she wanted to go to the beach. We got a late start, but ended up about 10.5 miles down PINS.
NO WEEDS! This time last year the beach had 3 feet of weed, its sooo nice now. Caught 4 really bug whiting, and let a few nice ones go. I was standing on the first bar when Amy starts yelling, she grabbed the rod and fought for a minute while I came in. Took about 15 minutes to bring in. Tail roped, dehooked and released pretty quick, I didn't even think to measure it. Adrenalin was pumping pretty good, this was out first shark! Not sure if it is Blacktip or Sandbar? Link below is to our blog with pictures.
