A friend from NM, along with his wife and 2 and 5 year old kids were in for a visit this morning. They wanted to go in the boat in the worst way, so between rainshowers, about 11 a.m.,we ran to the 3 minute hh. First drift I get a 20.5" trout that I let Rosa, the 5 yr. old bring in. She was grinning from ear to ear. Also got 3 other keepers and a 39" drum. Talking about oohing and aahing over that fish. Rains came so we came in and I fried them up a bunch of fish, calamari, fresh baked bread and a spinach, strawberry and apple salad with homemade strawberry walnut vinaigarette.
Everyone went home happy with the 2 yr. old Rico walking out the door singing how much fun he had.
