Looks like it is happening on Sunday. Leaving Ingleside at 2 in the morning, and entering the ship channel about 9am. Should be quite a spectacle.

As of 8 this morning, it hasn't moved. Gangplank & elevator still tied to land. Not sure what caused delay, maybe storm possibilities.

Any idea how early? Will it be after sunrise, or is early 2:00 a.m.?

Not sure of time, but on Sunday's attempt, they were going to push off at 2am, and turn in to the Ship Channel at 9am, be at Port A at 4:30pm and at the last buoy around 6:30 or so. Plan to go by Ingleside in the morn early and check progress. Will get some pics too when it gets underway.

Its moving now. It is about to hit the ship channel and La Quinta channel intersection. Port Aransas at Charlies pasture is a prime spot to see it.
