Got some oysters in January from Groomers and they were the best I've had in a long time. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

| If you're willing to make a trip, best I have found are in Fulton. Couple of fish houses there that get them fresh off the boats and they are shucked in the fish house. |

Picked some up at Alby's in Fulton last week.
Kinda pricey, bur really good. $26 for a quart and I think $66 for a gallon.
Had some raw, fried and in oyster stew. |

Have you checked Morgan Street Seafood in Corpus Christi? They always have a good supply in stock. _________________ HighTide

Where I go, Groomer's is expensive, nice place, great for tourist and for those who don't want to drive . I buy mine buy the gallon already shucked. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Alby's is the only place that asked if I could wait while they shucked some fresh ones. Those were the best I ever had _________________ Adrift on the Mother Lagoon |

Morgan Street Seafood.... rough area good prices... and while you're over there eat at Banda's Seafood on Port Avenue. They have a fried flounder plate for like 7 dollars. _________________ But you ain't got no legs Lt. Dan, I know that |
