Hi, I was wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction of having a PINS worthy trailer made. I will be hauling 4 kayaks max with it so I can free up my bed space for camping gear.
Also I'm aware that bigger/wider tires will be the best for loose sand, but, what is the minimum trailer tire I can get away with?

The lighter the better if you get stuck a heavy trailer sure can suck I know from experience. Aguy stopped if front of me once to get out and lock his hubs in the worst place ever. Luckily I had a very long chain and strap. It was the last time I ever hauled my trailer down there, but it was a heavy 5x10 trailer. If I were going to custom build one it would be light and have tall wheels.

I know academy sells trailers for the jon boats from McClain. Around $500? They are light and with some Malone racks you can get 4 on there.
I've hauled a shop built 5x10 metal trailer loaded with 4 yaks and its just to heavy. Expect to burn more gas.
Just lower the tire pressure on the existing tires on trailer and you should be good.
Are you trying to make it to Y-Pass? Going over that dune may be a doozy.

I plan on going by the pass and other places. After yalls responses, I feel I need to get back to the drawing board and see if there are any other options like roof rack & etc.

There's no free lunch. Aluminum is the lightest and most costly. Wide, low pressure tires aren't the best on the road but work great in sand.
