| Steadmans, brown and root, Morris and cummins, dagger, ransom...threw soft plastics, hard plastics, spinners, California rigs in red, white, pink, chartreuse, black, and more ....in a variety of retrieves....no takers. Talked to a guy at the ramp who fished bait, no dice for him. Nothing moving in the water, birds on the banks. Tough day but a nice day on which to have a tough day for sure. |

Then you really wouldn't want to see my ice chest haha. 4' over grass. 7am - 8AM on topwaters and vudu mullet. Rest of the morning was on dinky mullets. Decent trout bite. _________________

I'd like to add that I'm old and my mom can't read or write. |

| Had several of those days recently, grasscutter, however today was not one of them. Got 7 trout to 21" on queen cocahoe minnow in mardi gras. Most were on the edge if drop offs. |

Laughing out loud grasscutter. I must fish the same spots that you fish. _________________ You have 2 choices in life: The right one or the easy one. |

| Add me to the list of "it was nice day on the water" reports. Fished east shore in AP. Very slow...few blowups, couple dink trout. |

Hit oso this afternoon for the minor and pre front bite. Lost 2 big girls that I saw, had one fight to stay down and head shake me off. Definitely a big trout. Caught over a limit to 26". Now the front is blowing through. Things will be changing *sigh* _________________
